Here you see a fine example of a Breitling watch, lovely really. At first glance the novice collector becomes giddy with delight at the very look and feel of the timepiece. Unknowing that the chronograph pusher placement on this piece are a time-bomb waiting for repair.
How, after countless years of production, can luxury watch brands keep delivering this style of buttons on their chronographs and still feel good about it? The edge is lipped and catches everything. And when your hand goes into your pocket and comes back out sans pusher it gets be to ridiculous!
I prompt people to stay away from them based on my own experience. Still many will go for models like this for the rest of the look the watch provides. I understand, and that’s why I’m a bit sympathetic towards collectors that just have to have one. But for your own good just remember this post and be super careful. Hey who knows, you may have better luck than most.

Damn, I just have to have one anyway!
Careful there, Freddy!
Me too! I have several Chronographs with those pushers! Uded them for years! Never had a problem with it!
