Here is a shot of an ETA movement placed in a not so real Submariner case. Yes, it is possible to get “good” look-a-like watches and they are everywhere for $800.00 to about $1,200.00 USD. Don’t buy ’em! Even if the movement is solid, the watches are thrown together and as to be expected, they are garbage. All fakes are classified as junk no matter what makes them tick. The point of owning a Rolex is for the in-house movement and fine case craftsmanship. If you want an ETA movement, buy a Hamilton for $495.00 and enjoy it.
